“ I came here last night with my fiancé for the first time and everything about this restaurant was amazing. As soon as we came in the staff directed us to our seats. Unfortunately we had chosen a slightly wobbly table but that was quickly fixed by a very attentive staff member. Food was amazing. Music was great. The outdoor seating area was very nice. We had ordered an esquite (which was generous portioned!), steak tacos, green enchiladas, and 2 frozen margaritas. By then end of our meal I had barely touched my margarita (just because I don't typically drink and I had changed my mind on having it) but our waiter asked if there had been anything wrong with it. I had said no. I did appreciate the effort to go above and beyond. Not a lot of restaurants would do this much for their customers. Definitely recommend this restaurant and we will definitely come back! 10/10! ”

“ Great Mexican Restaurant! They have an amazing vibe, definitely kids friendly; brought my nieces with us and they were very accommodating! The food was delicious, I would suggest some more tortillas for the fajitas but the other dishes were amazing! You should definitely try The Asteca, what a nice cocktail! ”

“ Gem of a restaurant in Bensonhurst. Great, flavorful dishes that are very shareable. I ordered fish tacos, guacamole, flautas, shrimp ceviche, and chicken tacos. None of these dishes disappointed. The guacamole was super creamy and not too heavily spiced which really allowed us to enjoy the fresh avocados. The restaurant is clean, waitstaff were attentive, and definitely gets more lively on the weekends as I sometimes pass by and catch live bands playing. My only complaint is that the prices are a little more expensive, but flavors definitely match. Such a great addition to the neighborhood, will regularly be ordering take out and coming in for a treat more often. ”

“ Came here for a birthday celebration on a Friday night. Highly recommend the classic frozen margarita, that was deliciously strong, steak, chicken and shrimp fajitas were fantastic with the black beans and rice and the chips, salsa and guacamole were the perfect appetizers. The taco salad was great too with the plantains. Service was nice, felt a smidgen rushed but it was busy tonight, really nice murals on the walls, small yet elevated and intimate setting. ”

“ Overall I came here for dinner with my husband on a Friday night around 7:30. We had app, entrees and a shared dessert. All in all, we had a good time and will be back. Food We ordered the guacamole enchilados to start. Serving was perfect for 2 people and tasted great! As entrees, my husband got the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce and I got the salmon con esquites. Both dishes were good but the salmon was better. For dessert we had churros with caramel sauce. Yum! Service Our waitress was quick, efficient and friendly. Ambiance Viva Mexico is super cute. From the wall decor to plating, they truly are instagramable. They have a fun playlist and are working hard to keep the place nice and clean. ”
